\n2nd September 2015: Playspace Live Launch Party<\/a> at The Place, Damansara Perdana.<\/p>\n


\nI bumped into Sharon Chong as I was walking around, looking for the place. Ever the wise, she knew where it was at. She also asked me to take a picture. I did not know why, but I put my faith in the wise!<\/p>\n


\nThe performance space, showcasing its lighting!<\/p>\n


\nEdwin Sumun was the host for the night, an ever playful emcee.<\/p>\n


\nThe night was a journey through music through the decades. Foo Chie Haur<\/b> here shows us the first stage.<\/p>\n


\nAnna Chong<\/b> and a Mongolian song.<\/p>\n


\nNana & Friends<\/b> with opera!<\/p>\n


\nJunji Delfino<\/b> brings us to modern day recorded music.<\/p>\n


\nReza Salleh<\/b> does the 50s and 60s.<\/p>\n


\nLiyana Fizi<\/b> joins him on stage to sing Something Stupid<\/i>.<\/p>\n


\nI love how it looks like they are either very dazzled or can’t get over how dazzling they both look.<\/p>\n


\nBut yeah, Stevensunny did a great job with the hair and make-up.<\/p>\n


\nThe lighting changes were smooth, too, with music transitioning from song to song effortlessly.<\/p>\n


\nJoy Victor<\/b> does the 70s.<\/p>\n


\nJude Macson Bensing<\/b> does the 80s.<\/p>\n


\nThe band (where you see David Tebari<\/b> on guitar, Melina William<\/b> on bass, Omar Ibrahim<\/b> on drums and Sharon Chong<\/b> on keyboard) does the 90s.<\/p>\n


\nHiding somewhere in the back is Zalila Lee<\/b>, who does a spot on impression of Alanis Morrisette.<\/p>\n


\nNikki Palikat<\/b> brings us to the 2000s.<\/p>\n


\nGlorious lights!<\/p>\n


\nAnd with that, the full production value mini-concert ended.<\/p>\n


\nBut wait…<\/p>\n


\n…Junkofunc<\/b> came out of hiding.<\/p>\n
