This was Eddy&#8217;s blues-rocking gig.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja1.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Triple6Poser<\/b> featuring the multi-talented <a href=\"http:\/\/www.20six.co.uk\/justin_guber\" target=\"_BLANK\">Khai<\/a> and his Danelectro.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja2.jpg\"><br \/>\nThen, there&#8217;s Henry who plays for the fans.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja3.jpg\"><br \/>\nAnd, of course, footstompin&#8217; harp-blowin&#8217; Eddy.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah there&#8217;s a bassist and drummer hidden from pictures.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja4.jpg\"><br \/>\nGood ol&#8217; blues jam with <b>Majesty<\/b>. Yes the familiar dude is cousin to Rithan (of Deja Voodoo Spells).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja5.jpg\"><br \/>\nSpot the bass slut!<\/p>\n<p>I smelt an unorthodox Jimi Hendrix-like jam. A band to look out for!<\/p>\n<p>They also did <b>The Doors &#8211; Love Me Two Times<\/b>. Fortunately, no naked Red Indian man made a cameo.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja6.jpg\"><br \/>\nYummy fans.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja7.jpg\"><br \/>\nThen, there was <b>Curtis Blues Review<\/b>, who I finally saw after a long time with a new lineup. This picture shows Eddy making a guest vocalist appearance.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, they finally have a second guitarist again. This was great because Russell could finally have his chunky rhythm chops and buttery leads. There was a slight Stevie Wonder tinge to his cover of <i>Eric Clapton &#8211; Change The World<\/i>. Then, there was a rockabilly <i>The Police &#8211; Every Breath You Take<\/i>. Awesome!<\/p>\n<p>I shouted <b>FREEEBIIIRDDD!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>They played <i>Lynyrd Skynyrd &#8211; Sweet Home Alabama<\/i>. Close enough. &#8220;<i>We just need three guitarists<\/i>&#8221; is what every blues shreddin&#8217; band says. Every blues band must have a 12-bar blues jam, and they did just that.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja12.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Deja Voodoo Spells<\/b>! That&#8217;s the insane shredder Rithan.<\/p>\n<p>He crooned <i>Jimi Hendrix &#8211; Voodoo Chile Blues<\/i> (not to be confused with <i>Voodoo Child<\/i>). He then sequed into the golden Stevie Ray Vaughn version of <i>Jimi Hendrix &#8211; Little Wing<\/i> (with his own insane double-tapping bits added in)!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja9.jpg\"><br \/>\nOf course, much much later, the actual <i>Voodoo Child<\/i> intro made its way in between this awesome oriental song.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja11.jpg\"><br \/>\nSingalong dude.<\/p>\n<p>There was the staple Hendrix cover, <i>Fire<\/i>, as well.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja8.jpg\"><br \/>\nThen there was this new punk song which sounded somewhere between The Cranberries and Nirvana, and <i>Queen &#8211; Stone Cold Crazy<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja10.jpg\"><br \/>\nBlues rock chicks are the best. No funky dressing, just straight up woman.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/jjja13.jpg\"><br \/>\nAnd that dear sir is the blues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>29th November 2007 &#8211; Juke Joint Jupiter, Laundry Bar!
