However, she tuned down the intensity and emotion of my favorite song of hers, and it lost its impact.<\/p>\n<p>I like intense songs performed&#8230; intensely. Don&#8217;t hold back!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg4.jpg\"><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.miapalencia.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Mia Palencia<\/a>, who needs no introduction!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg5.jpg\"><br \/>\nAnd now, fast-forward to a wet 14th March 2008. Umbrella? You got the wrong not-from-Malaysia artiste.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg6.jpg\"><br \/>\nWho? Which artiste had Adam Carruthers as emcee?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg7.jpg\"><br \/>\nSpot the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.simplecheryl.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Cheryl<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg8.jpg\"><br \/>\nSpot the chimpin&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/cyber-red.blogspot.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Reta<\/a>! And what is going on to the right?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg10.jpg\"><br \/>\nFigured out who, yet?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg9.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Colbie Caillat<\/b>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">MySpace<\/a> graduate!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg11.jpg\"><br \/>\nAnd this is her John Mayer. Spot the Sarah!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg12.jpg\"><br \/>\nShe played quite a bit of songs. To me however, there was something missing &#8211; song dynamics. It had an unwavering level of energy. I also felt the vocals to be a bit soft, such that the guitars&#8217; consistency overrides and made her performance rather&#8230; flat.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg13.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe light falloff at the bottom is from the crowd of human heads.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/gapg14.jpg\"><br \/>\nNo prizes for guessing which song this prop was released at!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>17th February 2008: No Black Tie Unplugged with a special flava &#8211; girls only.
