\nFirst up, Nadir<\/b>, a crazy jazz fusion band with what has been described to be a Tourism Malaysia sound!<\/p>\n


\nZaim on bass!<\/p>\n


\nStephanie on keys!<\/p>\n


\nEizaz filling in for Adil Johan on saxophone!<\/p>\n


\n(Edited with update from Zaim) Kamal of Salam Musik filling in for Farique on guitar! (Interestingly, one of the reasons they got him to fill in, is his resemblance to Farique.)<\/p>\n


\nRashdan on guitar and vocals!<\/p>\n


\nAshwin on drums!<\/p>\n


\nSantosh on tabla and percussion!<\/p>\n


\nContinuing the unconventional is Chirin Chirin<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nPunk rock band power without the punk, just screaming and rocking out.<\/p>\n


\nWe’d normally see these band members in different roles.<\/p>\n


\nMore crunchy distortion!<\/p>\n


\nI didn’t inspect how these things worked.<\/p>\n


\nBig crowd, and the first gig I attended in 2016! New Year greetings went all around.<\/p>\n


\nDarren Teh, emcee and organizer.<\/p>\n


\nNext up, another big band.<\/p>\n


\nSon Of A Policeman<\/b>!<\/p>\n


\nJee has a thing for restless keyboards.<\/p>\n


\nSingalong choruses are their forte.<\/p>\n


\nI was surprised to find out that Axl Grey is a programmer – that’s my day job, too!<\/p>\n


\nContrary to assumption, none of them are the offspring of policemen. Whether they are offspring of policewomen, I do not know.<\/p>\n


\nTake Two<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nThey hail from Singapore.<\/p>\n


\nIndie electronica-tinged rock, suitable for dancing.<\/p>\n


\nIt’s been a while that I’d been so impressed that I’d buy an album.<\/p>\n
