\nSomebody’s lurking in the distance…<\/p>\n


\nHard rockin’ REVENGE<\/b>!<\/p>\n


\nBeware his armpits of fury!<\/p>\n


\nThey were so grand they managed to get our classic Rock The World<\/b> 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 and now 8 emcee, Mr. Haaa-rooon!<\/p>\n


\nThere were double guitar harmonies… (insert Rock Band Star Power)<\/p>\n


\n…and there were gentle arpeggiated solos.<\/p>\n


\nI have to say, they really took to the stage with a mix of everything that is true<\/b> and is metal. No life till leather!<\/p>\n


\nFacepaint for guitarists and bassists!<\/p>\n


\nEvery song gets a shrieking solo.<\/p>\n


\nIt was commonplace to be slightly deaf after.<\/p>\n


\nDrum solo!<\/p>\n


\nThese guys were undoubtedly the band with the best showmanship<\/b> that night.<\/p>\n


\nOh, but you know who everybody paid to see – Butterfingers<\/b>!<\/p>\n


\nGreg Henderson, producer, was also filling in for Loque.<\/p>\n


\n“Eh, you can shred ah!<\/i>”<\/p>\n


\nThey performed a most diplomatic set, doing a song from every album…<\/p>\n


\n…and going back in time when grunge was in.<\/p>\n


\nI could see that Greg could not be happier to have the honor of belting the intro of The Chemistry (Between Us)<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Wondered what the Butterfingers looked like back at Rock The World 1?<\/p>\n

<\/param><\/param><\/param><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n

Yeah, totally grunge and so young and scrawny!<\/p>\n


\nKadak’s got a pimpin’ outfit.<\/p>\n


\nEmmett goes electric. “Hey where’d you get that old guitar from?<\/i>”<\/p>\n


\n…and he tosses it straight up and it lands on its headstock!<\/p>\n


\nNow that is a rock show!<\/p>\n


\nI bet he knew it would survive.<\/p>\n


\nThis is the cue for everyone to put their hands up…<\/p>\n


\n…so he can go to the crowd…<\/p>\n


\n…and surf!<\/p>\n

And that ends my Rock The World 8 series. Now back to regular programming!<\/p>\n
