{"id":1447,"date":"2010-08-29T03:31:42","date_gmt":"2010-08-29T03:31:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/?p=1447"},"modified":"2010-08-29T03:31:42","modified_gmt":"2010-08-29T03:31:42","slug":"8-4-rock-on-the-floor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/?p=1447","title":{"rendered":"8-4 Rock On The Floor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat3.jpg\"><br \/>\n8th April 2010: A relatively band-heavy instalment of <a href=\"http:\/\/moonshinekl.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_BLANK\">Moonshine: A Homemade Music Show<\/a> down at <a href=\"http:\/\/laundrybar.blogspot.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Laundry Bar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat4.jpg\"><br \/>\nThis was <b>Tenderfist<\/b>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat6.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;which I could describe as slower synthpop in the vein of New Order.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat5.jpg\"><br \/>\nGreat stuff!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat7.jpg\"><br \/>\nNext up was <b>Sphere<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat10.jpg\"><br \/>\nI&#8217;d call it shoegazing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat8.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;but happy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat9.jpg\"><br \/>\nWide open my Vivitar 24mm F2.0 makes me wish for the speedy arrival of the Zeiss 24mm F2.0. Fortunately it isn&#8217;t priced anywhere near my Zeiss 135mm F1.8!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat11.jpg\"><br \/>\nThen came a band I hadn&#8217;t seen in ages &#8211; <b>KLPHQ<\/b>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat12.jpg\"><br \/>\nThis was definitely a harder night.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat13.jpg\"><br \/>\nLast I counted, they should be the Kuala Lumpur Post-Harmonic Quintet.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat14.jpg\"><br \/>\nHooray for on-stage lighting.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat20.jpg\"><br \/>\nReza introduces the next band&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat15.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>The Otherside Orchestra<\/b>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/msat16.jpg\"><br \/>\nGotta love his shirt.
