\nOne 24th of April 2010 I went down to Artista, that gig venue\/restaurant\/bar down the corner of Tropicana City Mall.<\/p>\n


\nThat night, Artista was rocking with The Ramanados<\/b>!<\/p>\n


\nGregory Ramanado, frontman, mesmerizes the audience.<\/p>\n


\nAttentive audience is attentive!<\/p>\n


\nHe dances, prances, raps, scats, and rocks your socks off.<\/p>\n


\nSometimes, he rocks his hat off, too.<\/p>\n


\nIt was Herman Ramanado’s birthday celebration. Here he is ripping a bass solo.<\/p>\n


\nSteven Ramanado, meanwhile, sang a bit of Bob Marley. He celebrated his new dreadlocks with a dedication to the rastafarians!<\/p>\n

There was also a fair bit of The Police, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Incubus.<\/p>\n


\nAt the bar. It was a lot darker than this.<\/p>\n


\nDarren Ashley, soundman, took to the stage, looking all rock star.<\/p>\n


\nHe does funky fingerstyle and boomboxing.<\/p>\n


\nAnd then Gregory came on, to tell Herman to take it to the bridge!<\/p>\n


\nHis new air guitar is real light.<\/p>\n


\nSteven also took to the keyboards. Which is funny because I’d usually see Herman on piano.<\/p>\n


\nHerman, meanwhile, pimping up Jared Cheow’s drumset.<\/p>\n

\nJared on bass.<\/p>\n


\nBreak for the cake.<\/p>\n


\nBirthday boy on his brother’s lovely weathered Fender.<\/p>\n

Now if only my weathered goods had such value!<\/p>\n


\nThe night went on with an encore and a big jam session that resulted in quite many “one more song!<\/i>” calls.<\/p>\n


\nTisa joins in for the encore!<\/p>\n
