\nDragon Red<\/b> launched their Resureksi album at Black Box, MAP, Solaris Dutamas, on the 15th of October 2010.<\/p>\n


\nAmil is a good MC!<\/p>\n

Incidentally, Adam and Slyde are both MCs. So that’s 3 MCs and no deejay!<\/p>\n

\nNaked Breed<\/b> started the set with a rockout.<\/p>\n


\nTwo Sides To A Story<\/b>. Long time no see!<\/p>\n


\nWake The Night<\/b>. <\/p>\n


\nYou can tell they are heavy!<\/p>\n


\nAsh, for Velvet Aces<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nThese guys rock and roll…<\/p>\n


\n…in that order.<\/p>\n


\nRolling Sixers<\/b> were next. Man I love it when the lights are all different colors from all different angles!<\/p>\n


\nLeft<\/b>: Khai burning fretboard; right<\/b>: Eddy and his funky harmonica mike.<\/p>\n


\nRoshan of K-Town Clan<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nLike a judge!<\/p>\n


\nC. Loco<\/b>, brother of Slyde.<\/p>\n


\nTech the co-emcee.<\/p>\n


\nDeja Voodoo Spells<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nShreddus maximus!<\/p>\n


\nI am starting to really bite into their second album, Bite<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nWe all pray to the guitar god who has played with the likes of Steve Vai, Herman Li and Marty Friedman!<\/p>\n


\nGuest vocalizing is the order of the day.<\/p>\n


\nWakaka Crew<\/b> breaks into the scene.<\/p>\n


\nAnd then, it was the flaming pyrotechnical Dragon Red<\/b>!<\/p>\n


\nManshaan on drums.<\/p>\n


\nAmil on guitar.<\/p>\n


\nSlyde on rap and now, the occasional growling.<\/p>\n


\nAdam is the crooner, shouter and the most uh… facial personality of the band.<\/p>\n


\nCamero (which is a glamor name for Kamarul, LOL!) on bass.<\/p>\n


\nLooks like Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath here, who coincidentally plays bass too!<\/p>\n


\nPyros go boom!<\/p>\n


\nThat was not all, though. There was Beat The System<\/b>, a potent mix of rap and metal!<\/p>\n


\nFinishing the night brutally was Endzeil<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nI finally got to see my favorite bouncer buddy in rock concerts, shoving some of the most brutal metal in my ears!<\/p>\n


\nSlyde joins in.<\/p>\n


\nBWRAAARHRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR<\/p>\n


\nAdmittedly I don’t have long hair to headbang with anymore, but I still conserve my energy for Dragon Red!<\/p>\n

Now I know some people have written articles in magazines that dismiss nu-metal, but hey it’s still enjoyable and very much a guilty pleasure of mine. So when people bring you down, what do you say?<\/p>\n


\nYeah!<\/p>\n


\nOooh! On the inside of the album, on the last page of the album sleeve, is my picture! It was taken at the back of Adam’s house<\/a> (which is ironic since we planned to travel far for the band shot but as we got in the cars we found it to be a fantastic location!)<\/p>\n
