Interestingly, most of my lenses do not taper forwards.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi44.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe wide lens for the day was the Samyang 35mm F1.4 UMC on the Sony Alpha 900.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi45.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Thy Regiment<\/b> is hardcore.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi47.jpg\"><br \/>\nThen came <b>Monoloque<\/b> with <b>Atilia<\/b>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi46.jpg\"><br \/>\nI&#8217;ve got a thing for battered sunburst Fender Stratocasters.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi48.jpg\"><br \/>\nDahlia.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi50.jpg\"><br \/>\nKadak, on bass (Loko on drums was also from seminal Malaysian band, Butterfingers.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi49.jpg\"><br \/>\nHowever, this band takes on a different creative stance &#8211; but then, Butterfingers did, too.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi51.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe telephoto work was shot with the Sony Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 135mm F1.8 ZA.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi52.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Sekumpulan Orang Gila<\/b>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi53.jpg\"><br \/>\nWhen you got your power stance like that, it goes without saying that they play some form of post-hardcore.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi54.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe Samyang 35mm F1.4 UMC proves to not have the best bokeh.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi55.jpg\"><br \/>\nWhat a show!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi56.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Bittersweet<\/b>, with Ryan Lee Bhaskaran&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi57.jpg\"><br \/>\nThese guys bring British swagger on stage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi59.jpg\"><br \/>\nSome days, I am not sure whether to crop&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi58.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;or to leave it as it was originally.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi60.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Akta Angkasa<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi61.jpg\"><br \/>\nSpace rock lives again!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi62.jpg\"><br \/>\nThere is just something very, very photogenic about Ned&#8217;s bass. It&#8217;s here to enslave us, and it gives me that Sentinel-of-X-Men feeling.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi63.jpg\"><br \/>\nThey do space rock, without the slow bits.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi64.jpg\"><br \/>\nHello there!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi65.jpg\"><br \/>\nSam of supergroup <b>The Azenders<\/b>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi66.jpg\"><br \/>\nIn the background, their new music video for <i>Livin&#8217; Rock And Roll<\/i> debuted.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi67.jpg\"><br \/>\nThis version featured my ex-colleague Tehmina Kaoosji!<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0Lbi4o9SuHM<br \/>\n(This was the earlier one.)<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dmBfoIlKxHw<br \/>\n(And this, the newer one.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi68.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe stage lights got really nice by this time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi69.jpg\"><br \/>\nI dig the perspective here.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi70.jpg\"><br \/>\nSam brings a different style to the stage &#8211; far from his Bunkface days.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi71.jpg\"><br \/>\nIzal was also from a punk rock band &#8211; One Buck Short, to be exact.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi72.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe next band set up flags, to bring the mood of impending doom up.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi73.jpg\"><br \/>\nImpending, indeed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi74.jpg\"><br \/>\nThey call this <i>blackened death metal<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi75.jpg\"><br \/>\nYes, they have a uniform.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi76.jpg\"><br \/>\nI really couldn&#8217;t figure out how to best crop this.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi77.jpg\"><br \/>\nThen came <b>The Padangs<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi78.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe crowd. Poor girl later got hit in the head by a crowd surfer, though!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi80.jpg\"><br \/>\nI have to say, I really enjoyed Rock The World 11&#8217;s very metal\/hardcore lineup&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi79.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;very serious business, legit and true, and free from the typical claims that Rock The World is a reunion of old bands related to the organizers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi81.jpg\"><br \/>\nOf course, these guys do metal\/hardcore, too.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi82.jpg\"><br \/>\nAnd to end the night&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi83.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Massacre Conspiracy<\/b>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi84.jpg\"><br \/>\nThese guys were decked out in Peter Says Denim wear.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi85.jpg\"><br \/>\nAlso a metal\/hardcore band.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi86.jpg\"><br \/>\nAdmittedly, I am not well-versed in this genre, and they may sound the same to me, but it doesn&#8217;t stop me from headbanging. Not having much hair to headbang is a bummer, though.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rtwxi87.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe show ended before 11pm, allowing the crowd to get home before the monorail closes.
