\nSilent Scenery<\/a>, post-rock.<\/p>\n


\nRyota Katayama<\/a>, with a unique melancholic voice.<\/p>\n


\nFree Deserters<\/a> rock out.<\/p>\n


\nSheryl Goh<\/b>, most often known as the female vocalist for An Honest Mistake<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nThe Metaphor<\/a> brings on instrumental rock.<\/p>\n


\nCharis Ow<\/b>, YouTube superstar and blogger.<\/p>\n


\nLightcraft<\/a>! I haven’t seen this British indie rock band in ages.<\/p>\n


\nThere was a long intermission and a change of crowd. Seen on the stage then was a beautiful violin bass!<\/p>\n


\nIt was Samurai<\/b>! They brought a massive crowd of Japanese fans.<\/p>\n


\nThe dude on the right is Hiroaki’s father – and boy can he shred! (Hiroaki was from Throne Away, Tokyo Blue and a few other bands I don’t remember in Malaysia.)<\/p>\n


\nReza Salleh<\/a> was next. First time I’d ever see just him and Melina on bass – but what an interesting sound that was, to hear just guitar and bass.<\/p>\n


\nHe also sang Utada Hikaru – First Love<\/i>.<\/p>\n


\nLater in the night I ended up at Mezze.<\/p>\n


\nIt was the Az Samad Trio<\/b>!<\/p>\n


\nThere was a lot of jazz going on that night. Here’s Kevin!<\/p>\n

\nThe place had very cool directional light. All shots up to this point on the Sony Alpha NEX-5, with the LA-EA1 adapter, and the Opteka 85mm F1.4.<\/p>\n


\nOn the 21st of May 2013 I was at The Bee again, this time for The Songwriter’s Showcase #3, organized by Very Imaginative People Enterprise.<\/p>\n


\nJasemaine of VIP Enterprise is also a photographer.<\/p>\n


\nI didn’t catch any of their names this time.<\/p>\n


\nI think she was singing when I suddenly heard accompaniment.<\/p>\n

\nThe Two Chinese Who Barely Made It<\/a>. Cool band name!<\/p>\n


\nI didn’t know what they were saying in Mandarin – I only understand very little spoken Cantonese and cannot read Chinese.<\/p>\n
