Reversed headstock, string-through bridge, V-shaped inlays, and bolder guitar bindings compared to the Randy Rhoads guitar it is based on.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05197_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe crowd wants a piece of him.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05208_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Maximus<\/b>. I don&#8217;t know if you can tell, but I selected which pictures to post partially because of the attractiveness of the guitars\/basses and the rocking poses.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05216_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nIn some cases, I am biased towards reflective shades.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05230_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Upon Revival<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05239_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nThere is something about a very polished bass, clean of stickers and duct tape, that appeals to me.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05254_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>The Eightyfour<\/b>. There is a certain look from the way the vocalist sings to the crowd, that you will know they sing post-hardcore.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05263_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Dish<\/b>, meanwhile, has a theme&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05273_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;and it certainly isn&#8217;t hardcore. They play alternative rock.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05284_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nMeanwhile, in the air-conditioned Elevate booth, photos are taken!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05297_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Cassandra<\/b>, another post-hardcore band.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05293_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nGotta dig the bindings and the pearl maple top.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05322_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Oh Chentaku<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05315_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nHidden message behind the headstock!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05318_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nJimmy, most known for being the drummer for Tempered Mental&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05325_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;and his band member, who is proud to wear this shirt.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05345_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Diandra Arjunaidi<\/b> brings sunshine to the traditionally rainy Rock The World.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05336_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nI later saw this guitarist backing her up in a singer-songwriter session. He had awesome improvised licks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05337_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nRed shirt, like the drums.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05351_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nMeanwhile, there was a little <b>Icons Music Booth<\/b>, where they were selling Epiphones&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05347_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nI don&#8217;t know where this band came from, but this guy was rocking a Epiphone Thunderbird bass.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05352_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nI think they were jamming to Metallica. The old bassist is in the middle.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05401_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe band is always smiley and happy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05409_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nMeanwhile, promoter girls stroll through the field. They keep it catchy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05435_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nHey this bassist is familiar!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05438_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nThis guitar bag is damn cool.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05441_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nThis T-shirt is damn cool.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05450_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Azure For Janne<\/b>, post-hardcore.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05477_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nNow, for a nu-metal sound &#8211; Pop Shuvit with more rappers becomes <b>Project E.A.R.<\/b>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05482_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nA minor difference being that Ryan Lee Bhaskaran was on drums instead.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05491_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nOtherwise it&#8217;s still AJ on bass&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05495_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;and JD on guitar (without the bug-eyed glasses, but still with Yamaha guitars.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05502_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Khottal<\/b>, bigger than the average big band, with a lot of instruments.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05518_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nI cannot say I understand their music though. Then again, that happens for some bands that I treasure now.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05524_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nFunky mohawk. As foretold, the rain would come.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05529_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nAnd so, I retreated to one of the game booths. Even her callsign is &#8211; Steelgirl Ladyana!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05698_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nTwo guitars, galloping rhythm and plenty of twin guitar lead licks. Add one more and you&#8217;d have Iron Maiden.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05702_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nGotta dig the kicks, too, despite me being a one-pair-of-sneakers kinda guy. Interestingly, following up on this band, she was replaced by another female vocalist with an equally metal name, Tasya Blade (making it their third female vocalist!)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05707_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nYeah, traditional Jackson Randy Rhoads!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05713_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Robot Asmara<\/b> plays new wave rock.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05726_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nMeanwhile, on another stage, a Guitar Hero showdown takes place. I know this rockstar on the left!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05739_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Salam Musik<\/b> is a big band.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05756_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Darren Ashley<\/b>, facing technical difficulty. I just like this picture because of the Rembrandt lighting.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05790_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe crowd awaits a fix.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05793_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nAnd he&#8217;s back with electropop rock!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05807_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe Darren Ashley Band, as it was known then, was already color-coordinated.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05817_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nUnfortunately &#8211; and I was hoping this would not happen &#8211; due to technical difficulties, it ended up overlapping with this other band that I&#8217;d wanted to see very much.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05823_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Damn Dirty Apes<\/b>! They were the first post-rock band I&#8217;d ever heard. When I heard them I felt chills and a slow, subzero wind whizzed past. To this day, I can&#8217;t find any post-rock band to like more. Perhaps it&#8217;s a preference thing, that post-rock is a very acquired taste, that you may like one and not the other.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05808_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nAnyway, I managed to catch 3 songs from Ape Kill Ape and Kilometrico, not in any release. That is also a very cool T-shirt.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05813_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nToo bad Bob is not in a spacesuit.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05829_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nSomebody won a guitar, I think.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05850_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe good ol&#8217; Radhi-O, of <b>OAG<\/b>! He sang a cover of <i>Oasis &#8211; Don&#8217;t Look Back In Anger<\/i>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05866_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;and then he got bored and started exploring the space. The bouncers returned him to stage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05870_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nIt was hilarious to see him running across speakers and getting caught. I&#8217;m not quite sure why they need to catch him and return him on stage, though&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/DSC05876_DxO.jpg\"><br \/>\nI think he might&#8217;ve thought the moshpit was a lot closer than he thought.
