Here&#8217;s Love Me Butch soundchecking. Rather interestingly shaped stage, this.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk2.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe lounge upstairs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk4.jpg\"><br \/>\nOpening were some friends, including <b>Oh Chentaku<\/b> (with Alang on drums this time.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk3.jpg\"><br \/>\nIf you&#8217;re wondering why the color and look is different, I figured that Adobe Camera RAW would do a better job at the tricky color cast this time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk5.jpg\"><br \/>\nMyo swaps out his SG for an acoustic guitar. Little did I know I&#8217;d seen him in Sky Juice Coffee!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk6.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Project E.A.R.<\/b>, with members of Pop Shuvit&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk7.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;and rappers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk8.jpg\"><br \/>\nMore rappers, that is.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk9.jpg\"><br \/>\nDJ Uno on the decks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk10.jpg\"><br \/>\nSyahrul of <b>Love Me Butch<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk11.jpg\"><br \/>\nGotta love the disco ball lighting.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk12.jpg\"><br \/>\nAt a sixth of a second I managed to capture the movement of the disco lights.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk13.jpg\"><br \/>\nThis, at half of a second.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk17.jpg\"><br \/>\nThen came the highlight &#8211; <b>Deja Voodoo Spells<\/b>! Here&#8217;s Rithan, guitar shredder, Ibanez ambassador, guitar teacher, amplifier builder and now composer of a 20 minute, 20 second long progressive metal opus called <i>Dangerous Knowledge<\/i>, which he played for us.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk16.jpg\"><br \/>\nAinol, the shirtless drummer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk14.jpg\"><br \/>\nMie, 5-string bassist who has a knack for tapping.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk15.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe whole album has only one song, Dangerous Knowledge, but it&#8217;s actually made of a few parts.<\/p>\n<p>We of course cheered for an encore, and they obliged with <i>Rock N Roll<\/i> (off their second album, <i>Bite<\/i>), a cover of <i>Queen &#8211; Bohemian Rhapsody<\/i> and a tease of the intro lick to <i>Pantera &#8211; Cowboys From Hell<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk18.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>DJ Rahul<\/b> of One Buck Short closed the show.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/dvsdk19.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe album was sadly not available yet, but it was released in January 2013. It came autographed with a book in PDF format and the song in WAV and MP3 format.<\/p>\n<p>From the PDF I was able to plot which part of the song was which. They&#8217;ve saved you the trouble of ripping it from audio CD, too! I like how the PDF format allows for what would have been a thick book and not a booklet.
