\nSuper cool Thunderbird bass.<\/p>\n


\nWorn out Telecaster.<\/p>\n


\nKhottal<\/b>, another big band.<\/p>\n


\nThis is how you make yourself heard without a mike.<\/p>\n


\nOld boys Man Under Zero Effort<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nThey’re instrumental, and their rock ranges from sounding Foo Fighters-ish to other genres.<\/p>\n


\nAlang, drummer for many.<\/p>\n


\nDeepset<\/b>, a post-rock band.<\/p>\n


\nOne of the closest in style to Damn Dirty Apes – coincidentally, my favorite style of post-rock.<\/p>\n


\nShizuka (Ben Aman)<\/b>, from Ipoh.<\/p>\n


\nThey play fun rock and roll.<\/p>\n


\nThe stage was adorned with all sorts of antiques.<\/p>\n


\nMeanwhile, outside, Bob and Pedram of Damn Dirty Apes jam on the piano.<\/p>\n


\nFikri, emcee for the night.<\/p>\n


\nThe unforgettable 90’s band, Nice Stupid Playground<\/b>! Playing since the 90’s, that is, not playing 90’s music in a today context…<\/p>\n


\n…where moshpits weren’t regulated terribly, I assume.<\/p>\n


\nYou could even swim in a sea of supportive hands!<\/p>\n


\nEvery song was a singalong, and they invited this dude, who I guess is Big Show.<\/p>\n


\nEnding the night was the long-awaited Damn Dirty Apes<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nEvery song starts slow and melancholic, then builds up and bursts into distortion. Just the way I like my post-rock.<\/p>\n
