{"id":2930,"date":"2014-01-27T19:43:02","date_gmt":"2014-01-27T19:43:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/?p=2930"},"modified":"2014-01-27T19:43:02","modified_gmt":"2014-01-27T19:43:02","slug":"construct-bots-revisited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/?p=2930","title":{"rendered":"Construct-Bots, Revisited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/cbgs1.jpg\"><br \/>\nI had some time to fiddle around, to make Version 3 of a Transformers: Construct-Bots gestalt. <a href=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/?p=2758\">The first two versions are here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the right is Hasbro Transformers Masterpiece Optimus Prime (the later one, based on TakaraTomy&#8217;s Transformers Masterpiece MP-10.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/cbgs2.jpg\"><br \/>\nHe also has modern articulation. The fists at his elbows can be employed to stop the forearms from being able to turn backwards.<\/p>\n<p>I wanted the arms to extend out further, so I had to use a rather flimsy way and cover them with wings.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/cbgs3.jpg\"><br \/>\nFrom the back.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/cbgs4.jpg\"><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s really hard to describe how I did the waist and back. The waist joint is not that playable, though.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/cbgs5.jpg\"><br \/>\nHe&#8217;s double-jointed at the knees, when most Transformers aren&#8217;t (one of my main gripes, as well as feet that can fold either way.) <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had some time to fiddle around, to make Version 3 of a Transformers: Construct-Bots gestalt.
