Remember him? He was the host for <b>Lingo<\/b>, a gameshow on TV2. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smashpop.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Jason<\/a> and I <i>loudly<\/i> conversed:<\/p>\n<p><b>Me<\/b>: You may draw a ball!<br \/>\n<b>Jason<\/b>: Gold ball! Gold ball!<\/p>\n<p><i>* conversation may not be accurate<\/i><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chapree.tripod.com\/blergh\/\" target=\"_BLANK\">Syefri<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/jenifur84.diaryland.com\/\" target=\"_BLANK\">Jenifer<\/a> didn&#8217;t get it until later.<\/p>\n<p>It would be great if Lingo would come back. It would be even better if, since he was in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.astro.com.my\" target=\"_BLANK\">ASTRO<\/a> cafeteria, that he would come back on ASTRO. It would be best if they shot Lingo in ASTRO itself! Ultimate coolness! Then, I could sneak in as a member of the audience and shout:<\/p>\n<p><b>PEARS! DAMMIT! PEARS!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Oh.<\/p>\n<p><b>BEARS! DAMMIT! BEARS!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The contestants were always oblivious to logic and obviousness. I had always dreamed of shouting the answer. Grrr. All that frustration back in school, when I probably wasn&#8217;t old enough to join.<\/p>\n<p>Like Mastermind, I knew that they should&#8217;ve used words with lots of vowels; <b>YEARN<\/b> and <b>LOTUS<\/b> would be good as openers, since they both covered <b>RSTLN<\/b> and <b>AEOUY<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>And so, I dared Jason, the daresome straight-faced clown of the lot, to go up to him and ask, &#8220;<i>can I draw a ball?<\/i>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, he left before we could make a move. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I saw Gary Thanesan in the office cafeteria during lunch sitting at the table behind me.
