Real turntables that use vinyl.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bsda8.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe second set is <b>Darren Ashley<\/b>, without his band, but with Bassment Syndicate instead. I could only imagine the synthesizer geekery that goes on during rehearsals!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bsda9.jpg\"><br \/>\nDarren Ashley turns on the vocoder to sing a robotic intro, for Marcus to punch in some R&#038;B. I don&#8217;t know the name of the song, but it has one heck of a slapped bass solo, cranked up with sweet fuzzy fuzz.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bsda10.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8220;<i>&#8216;dis mah favruttt song guys, coz I wrote it! Aight do it justice guys.<\/i>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We then got a Bassment Syndicated version of <i>If I Don&#8217;t Stay<\/i>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bsda11.jpg\"><br \/>\nAs an ending act, <b>DJ Moslem Priest<\/b> took to the decks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bsda12.jpg\"><br \/>\nBorrowed light from the Bassment Syndicate setup made it a lot easier to shoot this.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/bsda13.jpg\"><br \/>\n<i>Joget<\/i>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>17th November 2013: Lot 36: Bassment Syndicate x Darren Ashley at The Bee, Publika.
