(Yes, I am not following chronological order, as I have only time for a small set; the blog post that was supposed to go up spans 3 events.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo2.jpg\"><br \/>\nTable 23 gets stripped-down acoustic-styled performances.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo1.jpg\"><br \/>\nGrace, on keyboard, in the middle.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo5.jpg\"><br \/>\nRaja Farouque on double bass. Rather cool that a double bass would encourage the right hand&#8217;s fingers to rest on the fretboard, making for visible smudges!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo6.jpg\"><br \/>\nKevin sings&#8230; and dreams a dream.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo4.jpg\"><br \/>\nFarouque, adjustin&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo7.jpg\"><br \/>\nNow wait, where&#8217;s Jone? You&#8217;re not Jone!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo8.jpg\"><br \/>\nInstead, they featured clarinet player Lydia Ong. So this was <b>Fazz with Lydia Ong<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo9.jpg\"><br \/>\nShe played a lot of the lead melodies that I&#8217;d otherwise hear from Grace&#8217;s synthesizer (a separate keyboard on top.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo10.jpg\"><br \/>\nAnd yet, it sounded like it fitted right in, with their cabaret Broadway-styled music. It was as if those lines were meant to be played on clarinet.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo11.jpg\"><br \/>\nGroup picture on the stairs leading to Ah Fatt Tyre Shop &#038; Bar, just above Table 23!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo12.jpg\"><br \/>\nChecking Polaroids. The first picture was misaligned, due to parallax error &#8211; the viewfinder is not on the same axis as the lens, so the closer the subject is, the stronger the parallax. Strange that it should happen at   distance that is commonly used for Polaroid work!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo13.jpg\"><br \/>\nI then went over to Pisco Bar to see what was going on. <b>Azmyl Yunor &#038; The Sigarettes<\/b>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/fazzlo14.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe Sigarettes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>30th April 2014: Fazz at Table 23!
