New Year!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is so majorly procrastinated it amuses noone. At least most of these aren&#8217;t last year&#8217;s pictures. While all of you are going, &#8220;Happy Chinese New Year!&#8221; I release them &#8220;Happy New Year!&#8221; pictures.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksscene1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>I was at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xanga.com\/shelleyleong\" target=\"_BLANK\">Shelley&#8217;s<\/a> for New Year&#8217;s Eve 2005 to New Year&#8217;s 2006, at Cheras, atop a hill, where we could see fireworks, have a barbeque party and drink from her parents&#8217; winery products. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksbbq1.jpg\"><br \/>\nMarshmellows, when melted on lamb, look like rosebuds.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksbbq2.jpg\"><br \/>\nFrom the balcony, beware the hot pit below!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksscene2.jpg\"><br \/>\nThis was the wide view.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksklt3.jpg\"><br \/>\nAbout every shot was using a shutter speed of 15 seconds, F5.5, manual focus at infinity, ISO 50.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksklt1.jpg\"><br \/>\nOkay, so it might&#8217;ve been a bit too far&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksklt2.jpg\"><br \/>\nKL Tower goes down in flames.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksklcc1.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe fireworks almost reach the top of the Petronas Twin Towers!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksklcc2.jpg\"><br \/>\nSwallowing it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksklcc3.jpg\"><br \/>\nFear not kids, this isn&#8217;t the work of terrorists.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksklcc4.jpg\"><br \/>\nThey needed bomohs to rain all this smog down. The entire day, 31st December 2005, it rained heavily, to clear the skies for the night.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksnb2.jpg\"><br \/>\nI have to say, the neighbors had far more funky fireworks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/fireworksnb1.jpg\"><br \/>\nAt least near enough, that is.
