The authorities then decided to revoke the license. Argh!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt1.jpg\"><br \/>\nI just realized who <b>Jerome Kugan<\/b> sounded like. <b>Stephen Morrissey<\/b>. His unique clean, glass-like voice and vocal inflections reminded me of the great satirist songwriter. I was listening to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/?p=554\">Black Smiths &#8211; How Sweet Is Leaf<\/a> and realized that it sounded very familiar. Research followed, and I found out that it was from <i>The Smiths &#8211; How Soon Is Now<\/i>. You may recognize it, covered by <b>Love Spit Love<\/b>, as the <b>Charmed<\/b> theme song.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt2.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Deserters<\/b> featured <b>Izuan Shah<\/b> of <b>Auburn<\/b> and <b>Kawalski<\/b> (I think.) I&#8217;d have to say I prefered Izuan&#8217;s alternative rock stuff to this more straight folky stuff.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt3.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Keng<\/b>, from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.earsofa.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Furniture<\/a>, was a good ol&#8217; rock and roll superstar here, with <b>Azmyl Yunor<\/b>&#8216;s rarely ever seen band. He had the bluesy rock licks, the desirable red Gibson SG, and loads of stage time to let loose, gazing at the fretboard instead of his shoes.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt4.jpg\"><br \/>\nIt was also Azmyl&#8217;s birthday.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt5.jpg\"><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.brokenscar.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Broken Scar<\/a> sees the light.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt6.jpg\"><br \/>\nHis brother backs up on major key acoustic goodness.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt7.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Shahril<\/b> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesofasessions.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Sofa Session<s>ist<\/s>s<\/a> has just one bass tone; dancy. <b>Ariff<\/b> squeezes my soul everytime he does a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt8.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Eu Seng<\/b> and his band&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt9.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;the enveloping void of darkness. I can&#8217;t decide which picture better depicts the lonely melancholy of his haunting songs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt10.jpg\"><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.xanga.com\/yeemeng\" target=\"_BLANK\">Zack Tay Yee Meng<\/a> pops on stage for an open mike. As always, his Taylor glows on stage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/tnbt11.jpg\"><br \/>\nFinally, our favorite underground scene defender and jail-bailer, <b>Rafil<\/b> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.360dhr.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">360 Degree Head Rotation<\/a> and <b>Panda Head Curry<\/b> ends the show.<\/p>\n<p>The next <a href=\"http:\/\/www.klpac.com\/Welcome.asp?c=whatsontheatreview&amp;theatreID=50&amp;theatrecatID=6\" target=\"_BLANK\">Troubadours<\/a> will be at <b>KL Performing Arts Center<\/b> this Sunday!
