\n28th April 2014: Dotters’ Division at Table 23<\/a>, Jalan Mesui, Kuala Lumpur!<\/p>\n


\nIt was the first time I’d see them at Table 23. Melissa’s voice was super clear!<\/p>\n


\nRebecca on cajon, and Melissa on acoustic guitar, left more space for Melissa’s vocals to ring – and ring they did, from all the way inside! I was thinking how remarkably clear it was.<\/p>\n


\n“Eh don’t lah I shy.<\/i>”<\/p>\n


\nLinet, on keyboard. It’s also her birthday at the time I’m posting this. Happy Birthday!<\/p>\n


\nJie Er, on bass.<\/p>\n


\nWe now interrupt the show with an immense display of cuteness.<\/p>\n


\nThe puppy stopped to watch, too.<\/p>\n


\nDon’t know what went on here but Melissa was probably being sasau<\/i>.<\/p>\n


\nOh, and Audrey on saxophone! She does a fair bit of solo melody work (as do the keyboards), that contributes to their unique reworking of many songs. However, they kept it close with covers of Bee Gees – Night Fever<\/i> and Prince – Purple Rain<\/i>.<\/p>\n


\nNearly a month later, 26th May 2014, Dotters’ Division at Table 23<\/a>, Jalan Mesui, Kuala Lumpur! (Oh yes, see a theme here?)<\/p>\n


\nIt was a rainy Monday.<\/p>\n


\nSure didn’t stop them from bringing the groove on!<\/p>\n


\nThat thing that makes unicorn rainbow sounds.<\/p>\n


\nSQUIRREL!<\/p>\n


\nThey generally cover the funk and soul of the 60’s all the way to today’s music.<\/p>\n


\nI enjoy their occasional switchup of setlists. <\/p>\n
