Nicole&#8217;s powerful voice and stage presence is indeed captivating.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja2.jpg\"><br \/>\nDipha on guitars isn&#8217;t part of their usual lineup. Sadly, I think the guitar amplifier was too loud, and his classical guitar plucking was honking in my ears.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja3.jpg\"><br \/>\n(Irrelevant pictures might get downsized, like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tabulas.com\/~lainie\" target=\"_BLANK\">Lainie<\/a>&#8216;s chicken chop. Yeah, she&#8217;s the man, she orders chicken chop during a rock gig.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja4.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Plush<\/b> was next. Credits to <a href=\"http:\/\/jasiminne.blogspot.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Jasiminne<\/a> for this shot of <b>Melina<\/b> and a Flying V.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja5.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe bassist looks awfully like one of my friends. (I shall start abusing Hue\/Saturation\/Lightness effects from this point on.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja6.jpg\"><br \/>\nSo does the drummer <b>Stephanie<\/b>. Well, maybe.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja7.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Izwin<\/b> sings alternative rock songs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja8.jpg\"><br \/>\n(Beer and women. Happiness.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja9.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Jack<\/b> the shredder is given a few bars per song to solo! This was the first time I&#8217;d seen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.temperedmental.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Tempered Mental<\/a> do that.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja10.jpg\"><br \/>\nMelina plays bass and sings over complex time changes in what else but progressive rock. Funky thin neck effect was accomplished with slow shutter speed and flash.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja11.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Applecreed<\/b> was next. Check out the lyrics!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja12.jpg\"><br \/>\nIf you run out of space, write them on the other hand.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja13.jpg\"><br \/>\nNah, she wasn&#8217;t referring to her arms at all. I see a place where she could write a whole song on. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja14.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Blunt<\/b> does <b>No Doubt<\/b> covers and ska anthems.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja15.jpg\"><br \/>\nYes, you can be fashionable in black and white.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja17.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Candy<\/b> is a band that has been around and has had a hit single <i>Akan Ku Tunggu<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja16.jpg\"><br \/>\nThey&#8217;re serious, with serious, non-girly guitars like this Paul Gilbert Model Ibanez.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja18.jpg\"><br \/>\nSpot the POD! No, not an iPod.<\/p>\n<p>They did some hard rock, and sadly relegated to covers, e.g. <i>Marion Raven &#8211; End Of Me<\/i>, <i>Cranberries &#8211; Zombie<\/i> and <i>Nirvana &#8211; Smells Like Teen Spirit<\/i>. However, they rocked harder than any other male-membered band who ever tried to cover those songs!<\/p>\n<p>I wonder if this is what becomes of bands that don&#8217;t retire &#8211; they probably play in pubs and hotel lounges. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paultan.org\/tragickingdom\" target=\"_BLANK\">Paul<\/a> thinks they&#8217;re MILFs. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/rcja19.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe sweet (Candy) bits were when they did <i>Guns &amp; Roses &#8211; Sweet Child Of Mine<\/i>, wailing solos and all, and riffed together to heavy metal instrumental, <i>Iron Maiden &#8211; Transylvania<\/i>! Jangan tak rock.<\/p>\n<p>The emcee was Juliana of Fly FM, and she was telling lame jokes.
