\nDamansara Cineleisure. The only occupant at the moment being Cathay Cinemas, sadly.<\/p>\n


\nFazri<\/a>, Yi Jian<\/a> and I ended up meeting Paul<\/a> and stim-girl<\/i> at Thai Express<\/b>, where I had yellow curry rice. Or was it rice with yellow curry?<\/p>\n


\nFast-forward to the huge Laundry Bar, with rock and roll band Qings & Kueens<\/b> starting the set. Left to right<\/b>: girl thinking, “ooo cute geeky guitarist<\/i>“, cute geeky guitarist, expressionful vocalist and bass player bowing<\/i>.<\/p>\n


\nThe sound console.<\/p>\n


\nMia Palencia<\/b> (usually of jazz\/blues\/soul acoustic duo Double Take<\/b>), plays guitar! I’d never seen her play guitar, and she was good on it, playing the blues, accompanied by Zalila Lee<\/b> on guitar and Hardesh Singh<\/b> on percussion.<\/p>\n


\nI don’t like the colored lighting near the fountain; it makes it look less like a mafia family house (right-side picture).<\/p>\n


\nWhen I came back from the search for the loo, Couple<\/b> was playing, with Hana<\/b> of Lucy In The Loo<\/b> on guitar.<\/p>\n


\nLook ma, I can play my guitar upside-down!<\/p>\n


\nMore distractions! Like these lights.<\/p>\n


\nReza Salleh<\/a> faces the crowd.<\/p>\n


\nI seriously wonder where all these people came from. I could not imagine all these people fitting in No Black Tie<\/b> or La Bodega KL<\/b>! And these aren’t strangers either; I recognized a lot of them! Maybe this gig was coincidentally when they would all<\/b> come.<\/p>\n


\nStephanie<\/b> drums the beat to Reza’s songs.<\/p>\n


\nHanafi<\/b> of Estranged<\/a> and Melina<\/b> of Tempered Mental<\/a> play guitar and bass respectively, and Reza now has a rock band!<\/p>\n


\nYwenna<\/b> of Rhapsody<\/a> is too famous. See? She’s overexposed.<\/p>\n


\nRhapsody gets funkier in this lineup. Left to right: Ywenna, Nicole<\/b> and featuring Kevin<\/b> the bass player of Qings & Kueens. Jimmy<\/b> of Tempered Mental is further to the right, beyond the picture, playing drums.<\/p>\n


\nXfresh TV Season 4<\/a> hosts are first up on open mike, singing a cover of Gloria Gaynor – I Will Survive<\/i>. It’s the finale so they aren’t going to be voted out.<\/p>\n


\nBroken Scar<\/a> appears solo after a long time. There is something about his acoustic guitar and him that just sounds more like the way I’m used to hearing the songs played back in my head.<\/p>\n


\nSome dude; I did not catch his name.<\/p>\n


\nLezel<\/b> (Khai-Lee<\/a>‘s friend) sings well, with haunting melodies.<\/p>\n


\nSad Angry Babies<\/b> with ballads.<\/p>\n
