Also, Isaac has gotta have more cowbell!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg9.jpg\"><br \/>\nDarren with one KAOSS Pad today, instead of the usual two. Not my blurry in-the-club shot.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg18.jpg\"><br \/>\nDrunk on F&#038;N, obviously.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg19.jpg\"><br \/>\nI didn&#8217;t have one of Bassment Syndicate&#8217;s funky LED lights so my phone screen would have to do.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg20.jpg\"><br \/>\nSo back to the band, with Marcus.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg21.jpg\"><br \/>\nHe invited on stage&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg22.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;the amazing Najwa Mahiaddin!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg23.jpg\"><br \/>\nIf I remember correctly, they did the neo-soul <i>Bassment Syndicate feat. Najwa &#8211; Confusion<\/i>. A really groovy, smooth track.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg24.jpg\"><br \/>\nFook also sings, sometimes, alternating between bass and guitar. This gives the band an interesting sound, that&#8217;s not too full in that guitar and bass sound, to be filled up by keyboards&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg25.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;or trombone.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg26.jpg\"><br \/>\nThey also invited Darren Ashley up.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg27.jpg\"><br \/>\nThey&#8217;d <a href=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/?p=4083\">performed together before<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg28.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe crowd was asked to get up!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg29.jpg\"><br \/>\nI haven&#8217;t seen the crowd stand up in No Black Tie, to the best of my memory.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg30.jpg\"><br \/>\nI forgot this guy&#8217;s name. Eric something, I think, in town for a bit.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg31.jpg\"><br \/>\nFor some reason, the way he looks reminds me a lot of Murphy Kenneth Hibbert&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg32.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230;also known as Bleeding Gums Murphy, Lisa Simpson&#8217;s saxophone mentor in The Simpsons!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/daeg33.jpg\"><br \/>\nMeanwhile, outside, Feeka, the hipster coffee shop next door, had a sign that said &#8220;Close&#8221;. I think we can tell.
