Rock on.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo1.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Seven<\/b>, funky jazz fusion band.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo2.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Edge Of Fire<\/b>, featuring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dragonred.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Dragon Red<\/a>&#8216;s Amil on bass.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo3.jpg\"><br \/>\nDaniel rips out metal tonight.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo4.jpg\"><br \/>\nIvan, on Amil&#8217;s pointy James Hetfield ESP guitar!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo5.jpg\"><br \/>\nIan behind drums, and a&#8230; human drum stand.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo6.jpg\"><br \/>\nThey then do <i>Whole Again<\/i>, acoustic.<\/p>\n<p>While waiting for Dragon Red to come on, the deejay plays <i>Pantera &#8211; Cemetery Gates<\/i>. I go wild and headbang, frantically looking for Amil or Adam to headbang with. The rest of the crowd seems impervious to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/?p=334\">Dimebag Darrell (RIP)<\/a> and gang. I was there that night to see the loudest music I&#8217;d ever see in Laundry Bar (well, I missed Love Me Butch&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo7.jpg\"><br \/>\nDJ Naz-T of Dragon Red is next.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo8.jpg\"><br \/>\nThey did an acoustic set, including a cover of <i>Incubus &#8211; Drive<\/i>. They also did not have a bassist; before their set I asked what happened. &#8220;<i>Oh, we have a replacement bassist, so if you see a bassist around, you might know who it is.<\/i>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t want to find out until they got on stage, but I spotted Melina of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.temperedmental.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Tempered Mental<\/a> holding a bass and hiding. Hot damn! But she was very fit for the role.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo9.jpg\"><br \/>\nMike stand head.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo10.jpg\"><br \/>\nAmil, reunited with his ESP JH-2.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo11.jpg\"><br \/>\nDragon Red gets a birthday boy to sing along.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo12.jpg\"><br \/>\nJangan tak rock.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo13.jpg\"><br \/>\nI caught this shot by accident.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo14.jpg\"><br \/>\nAdam and the glove of fury.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo15.jpg\"><br \/>\nWell hey, isn&#8217;t that Zarul the harmonica player and Alda the bassist? No, this was another gig &#8211; Isaac Entry And Friends at Laundry Bar as well, on the 26th of October 2006.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo16.jpg\"><br \/>\nIsaac Entry&#8217;s last gig at Laundry. Semi-acoustic blues and light funk, which goes somewhere from John Mayer to B.B. King (but in a less dinky setting.)<\/p>\n<p>I went up near the stage with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paultan.org\" target=\"_BLANK\">Paul<\/a>&#8216;s camera because he didn&#8217;t bother to, to take some of them 50mm F1.8 shots in his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/paultantk\/sets\/72157594346322931\/\" target=\"_BLANK\">Laundry Bar flickr gallery<\/a>. (Though after seeing the results, I think F3.5 would&#8217;ve been better.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo17.jpg\"><br \/>\nI was trying to capture the motion traced by the disco ball lights, and caught a pensive <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xanga.com\/sarahlim87\" target=\"_BLANK\">Sarah<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo18.jpg\"><br \/>\nEscalator at The Curve.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/lpo19.jpg\"><br \/>\nSarah also propagated her new camwhoring ideas.
