Yes, that&#8217;s Pertama Complex, where I got my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/?p=792\">Vivitar 2x teleconverter for Olympus Zuiko mount<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib17.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe first subject I managed to snap at 1\/500th of a second and 420mm at F11, was <a href=\"http:\/\/a-blog-a-day.blogspot.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Grace<\/a>, using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/?p=773\">Olympus OM-2000<\/a> with the 2x teleconverter and Olympus Zuiko 70-210mm F4.5-5.6 (effectively a 140-420mm F9-F11.) Interesting what the teleconverter does to bokeh. Even more interesting is how little chromatic aberration there is (I left her shoulder untouched.)<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and the Olympus OM-2000 was loaded with standard Kodak ISO 400 film.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib18.jpg\"><br \/>\nWith the Vivitar 24mm F2.0, I could fill up my full frame with 16 floors!<\/p>\n<p>This abandoned place is the Pekeliling flats near the Titiwangsa Monorail (and Titiwangsa STAR LRT.) Reeks of all sorts of smells, but the wind takes it out. Once in a while.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib15.jpg\"><br \/>\nWith the same wide lens, my hand kept making a guest appearance. <a href=\"http:\/\/asyraflee.blogspot.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Asyraf<\/a> disapproves. When manual focus is tack on at F2.0, images just pop!<\/p>\n<p>And now, for digital photography.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib4.jpg\"><br \/>\nWhere&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/yellowmonsta.blogspot.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Raymond<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib5.jpg\"><br \/>\nAsyraf, proponent of Nikon&#8217;s Creative Lighting System, shooting <a href=\"http:\/\/necromanicide.blogdrive.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Kingsley<\/a>. Spot the slave flasher <a href=\"http:\/\/thepinkfrog.wordpress.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Xian Jin<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;d want to take more than 10 minutes to compose the lighting for a shot, though.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib6.jpg\"><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jennihsurf.net\" target=\"_BLANK\">Jenifur<\/a> wonders how to work my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/?p=760\">infrared-modded Fujifilm Digital Q1<\/a> with 2x teleconverter and 70-210mm F4.5-5.6 lens (which gives a 840-2520mm equivalent crop.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib7.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8220;<i>Ma our apartment has been broken into!<\/i>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib12.jpg\"><br \/>\nXian Jin, shot with the Q1 in infrared. I&#8217;m not sure who shot this because I don&#8217;t remember shooting it. I reckon it was using the Vivitar 24mm F2.0 lens (144mm equivalent crop).<\/p>\n<p>At this point, you might be wondering &#8211; hey, wasn&#8217;t the Vivitar 24mm F2.0 on the Olympus OM-2000 film SLR?<\/p>\n<p>Well, the Q1 has a homemade adapter to support Olympus Zuiko lenses. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib13.jpg\"><br \/>\nGrace on the Q1, in infrared.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib11.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe ghost of <a href=\"http:\/\/rames.blogspot.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Rames<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib3.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8220;<i>Aiya, don&#8217;t flash me anymore lah.<\/i>&#8221; &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smashpop.net\" target=\"_BLANK\">smashpOp<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib8.jpg\"><br \/>\nKingsley is more than happy to bask in available light.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib9.jpg\"><br \/>\nRooftop jam.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib10.jpg\"><br \/>\nGrace eyes on, looking rather&#8230; pigeonly.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib14.jpg\"><br \/>\nThere&#8217;s something about Grace.<\/p>\n<p>I now end this second part with film pictures.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib16.jpg\"><br \/>\nWhat happens when you underexpose, at 1\/500th of a second although the meter tells you you should shoot at 1\/30th of a second? You can salvage this much detail (after noise reduction!)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/titib2.jpg\"><br \/>\nsmashpOp tells stories. Check out <b>everybody<\/b>&#8216;s expressions!
