Cosmic Funk Express<\/a> was having yet another farewell gig at GrooveJunction, this time for sure, as Zack<\/a> was leaving for Melbourne to further his studies.<\/p>\n

No wait, make that two<\/b> farewell gigs, on the 22nd and 23rd of June 2007. Their last uh… farewell gig<\/a> was a year back.<\/p>\n

\nZack the double-guitar tapping god. Personally, I love it when he rips the intro to Adante Con Moto<\/b>, or the Allan Holdsworth-like Conjunctions<\/b>, or the funky funky Outhouze<\/b>.<\/p>\n


\nI like the accidental effect of flashing the top with a slow shutter speed to expose the bottom. I must stress that such effects can only be gotten with a performance with spotlights.<\/p>\n

Okay, so that is not<\/b> how the second night ended.<\/p>\n


\nEvery entertainment venue in Desa Sri Hartamas was raided by police. They came around, collecting our identity cards, checked them, and returned a whole bunch of them much later. Yes, that is a Chinese policeman whoa!<\/p>\n
