{"id":966,"date":"2007-10-16T02:36:14","date_gmt":"2007-10-16T02:36:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/?p=966"},"modified":"2014-01-15T05:54:23","modified_gmt":"2014-01-15T05:54:23","slug":"severely-timelagged-post","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glaringnotebook.com\/?p=966","title":{"rendered":"Severely Timelagged Post"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>And now, for shots from almost 2 months ago, from the Stone Temple Pilots Tribute Gig, 17th August 2007, Jamasia!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt1.jpg\"><br \/>\nAny band with a saxophone is sure to astound!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt2.jpg\"><br \/>\nIt was <b>Kabus<\/b>, who played <i>Down<\/i> and <i>Vasoline<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt3.jpg\"><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vignesbalasingam.com\" target=\"_BLANK\">Vig<\/a> taught me an important pointer &#8211; count with the drummer and shoot at 4, when the drummer is most likely to hit the cymbals and look cool doing it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt4.jpg\"><br \/>\nFlannel stripe shirts were the order of the day.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt5.jpg\"><br \/>\nVelvia look! Photoshop&#8217;s Channel Mixer; in the Red Channel set Red +150, Green -25, Blue -25; Green set Green +150 (you get the idea&#8230;) On a side note, most shots were set to a White Balance of 2500 Kelvin, Green +9.<\/p>\n<p>A side snide note to Canon fans (hello there!); the 350D and 400D doesn&#8217;t allow you to set Kelvin White Balance, and the 30D only goes down to 2800K, not low enough for the intense reds and oranges of gig lighting. Fortunately the 40D goes down to 2500K, finally.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt6.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Stonebay<\/b>, grunge purveyors of the underground scene, would obviously make an appearance here. <i>Wicked Garden<\/i>, <i>Plush<\/i> (which was the first riff I played on my sister&#8217;s guitar), and the evergreen <i>Interstate Love Song<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt7.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Brainhead<\/b> did <i>Creep<\/i> and <i>Big Empty<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt8.jpg\"><br \/>\nJangan tak solo!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt9.jpg\"><br \/>\n<b>Naked Breed<\/b> however takes a more relaxed stance.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.glaringnotebook.com\/zimages\/stpt10.jpg\"><br \/>\nThe ever photogenic Ashley Ang makes her rocking appearance!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>And now, for shots from almost 2 months ago, from the Stone Temple Pilots Tribute Gig, 17th August 2007, Jamasia!
