Sign Of Approval

I spread among many the good word
And I no longer touched the ground
In ways perhaps unfairly absurd
As I felt more life in my blood
I so joyfully leapt
As if weight was trivial
To have repayment of debt
In wearing the sign of approval

New Life

I stand all alone
What a privilege it is!
Standing not sitting

Small contribution
I’m just one out of many
But all go to waste

Money could be made
Putting the cycle in place
To return pure taste

Salt lost its value
When we found another source
That was our product

It Is I

It moves to express emotion
Its complement brings to it perception
Nice to see but not to contact
Covered when dormant, it does not retract
Imperfection calls for transparency
Beautiful in white but ugly in a red sea
Point one way to capture a semisphere
As it enlarges in the darkness that we fear

What I Need

I could never handle your curves
Or your many no-entry signs
You are one of my many loves
But you won’t let me off the lines
And as I hit the walls nearby
I ignored gravity and flew
Dancing aimlessly in the sky
Before getting reborn anew
I wanted to be in control
To have a grip and not lose it
I wanted to just reach my goal
With a boost, just a little bit
I’ll be on magazine covers
So give me a day around town
I’ve been in circles for hours
In endless pursuit underground

Red Lightning

This morning’s lightning got me in action
I jumped and fear was my reaction
It flashed a pinkish red color
Before regular white light and thunder
Like God was taking a picture with red-eye reduction

I’d hate to be in Central Market now, running through the puddles as those people with umbrellas tread slowly, blocking my way.

Oh yes, I’ve sorta changed webhosts. Going to my Brinkster site will redirect automatically to my 1ASPHost site. Don’t worry about changing your bookmarks. It’s supposed to officially be http://www.xfresh.com/albert anyway. (I wonder how Google will react to this change, though…)

Oh yeah, you’d have to type your name and email again because all your old cookies won’t work. 😛

White Noise

White noise in a black room
A choice that leads to doom
Random rhythm of helpless drops
Decorating the tiles of rooftops

It is harder to drown
The voices inside your crown
Silence said so much more
Than spoken thoughts we chose to ignore

Success! A converted convert
Someday I shall be an expert
Following in the footsteps
Of the one who gives me laps

Inadequacy

I’ll never be enough
Never be full
Too smooth or too rough
To push or pull

I will not stand out
Even with my hands raised high
Till a strong gust comes about
I shall never fly

Oh bones please extend within
Darkness please scar my skin

Potential energy has never been so wasted
As I have hoarded profusely
Chemical energy is better off rewarded
To another holding body

Ze Question

I’m ugly crap so why dontcha wanna fix me?
Need I don a red cap to be known as sexy?
I’m broody, I’m moody, I’m woody, so?
Isn’t my large ego what you’d like to know?

Everlasting Fountain

I walked into the toilet of the Pasar Seni LRT station
As I held a full bladder I saw an irritated commotion
I was greeted by the backs of two men
Hoarding the urinals for since dunno-when
People were waiting and the booths were occupied
What took them so long to lower their tide?
Was it something about Pasar Seni
That conditions them to go on endlessly?
Why were they standing so close?
Were they afraid of an inaccurate hose?
What were they trying to conceal?
More importantly what was the deal?
Sorry sir I don’t mean to barge
But isn’t a urinal too claustrophobic for such discharge?
Thank goodness that one of them was done
I quickly turned the vacancy into none
I tried outdoing the forever man sailing port
I rushed high volumes but I was four seconds short
Call it ego to take a loss by heart
At least I didn’t have a four minute headstart
